If you're looking to save on your energy costs and reduce your carbon footprint, then LED lighting is the way to go.
One of the simplest and most effective ways to save on energy costs is to switch out all your incandescent light bulbs to LED bulbs. LED's, or light-emitting diodes, can save up to 90% more energy than standard light bulbs. How do LED bulbs do this? Simply put, the technology of a LED bulb allows it to produce the same amount of light (lumens) as an incandescent bulb while using far less energy (watts) to do so. For example, a 60 watt incandescent bulb is equivalent to a 9.5 Watt LED.

Another great feature of LED bulbs is that they last much longer than standard bulbs. Depending on usage, an LED bulb could last up to 25 years, or 25,000 hours. That means that one LED bulb is the equivalent of 25 standard bulbs. Switching to LED results in significantly less waste, from both bulbs and bulb packaging, going into our landfills.
LED lighting is available for every type of bulb out there and can be applied in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. LED's even go beyond bulbs and are available in landscape, recessed, and decorative lighting fixtures.
